CONSTITUTION AND WITHOUT A PEOPLE WITHOUT COUNTRY

People of more than 7.7 million inhabitants, living in a territory whose extent and wealth have anything to envy of a large majority of the world, is still without a constitution and under the command of a federal system. The latter returned the queen mother a constitution without any consultation of the Canadian people and without Quebec's consent. More than 100 people , under 8 million people, have a constitution and serve a legitimate the UN General Assembly. Quebec is not there, do not belong. Why?

When one looks around the table given in reference to the previous paragraph, we see that there are more than 40 of these countries have less than 1 million inhabitants, 27 with between 1 and 4 million, 29 which are between 4 and 7 million and finally, 7 countries are in the roster of 7 million. This means that over 50% of members, serving in the UN General Assembly, each represent a population of less than 8 million people. Quebec does is still not so many, far less equipped and with far fewer resources than he, are there.

There is no doubt that the causes are multiple and it is possible that they become even more aggressive with this unprecedented for the federalist forces. The latter, supported in this by some Quebec oligarchy and media of any kind although they control, seeking to break the thread that unites us as a people inherently and thus to transform ourselves into patches of expression cultural and scattered without common root. If we have already stole a referendum with the complicity of us, they are still capable of any dirty tricks to destroy our identity as a people.

Only a people more aware of what he is confident in itself and its resources, immunized against blackmail, misinformation, fear-mongering, and, above all, driven by a vision of society based on respect, solidarity and effective participation and real democratic life, will defeat them. These people should be able to recognize leaders who will be unequivocally great social project.

Time is short. The French slowly crumbling, the roots that connect us to the first 100 large families who formed the nucleus of what would become the great adventure of our people are losing more and more into the folklore of the thousand faces of the world we get less and less to participate in this adventure of ours. The opponents of our people know how to play the strings of immigration, multiculturalism, blackmail to prevent the formation of these links complicity between these newcomers and ourselves. Any attempt to raise this question is immediately characterized as racist then it is only intended to avoid ethnocide and encourage as far possible, enriching the people we are by the welcome and integration of newcomers. This requires that the Quebec people have a say and have control of this agenda.

Time is also to create our own constitution and draft our first constitution. We can not let the agenda of this task to those who like to see us there we are. For us to take initiatives and bring them to term. To do this, it is necessary that the real independence organizations supervise these activities towards this purpose. I recommend a platform of independence from all political parties and all social organizations and cultural workers. This platform is expected to be beyond these various bodies and operate independently. A committee of the true independence of Quebec would respond to his initiatives to the People itself.

I hope that this great popular meeting of 19 February was the first rallying cry of all these forces.
