Petit Pays begins his journey with the young audience this month!
He will visit the library of the Orange Bleue Frouard throughout the month of March, where I lead workshops around the plastic expressions book. These workshops will travel classes of budding young explorers CP CM1 ...
The workshop will begin with an illustrated journey from Benin, sketchbooks and watercolors in support. Then I will present author Guy-Ernest Kaho and our work as a storyteller and illustrator. A small exhibition recreating the world of books will be present.
Finally, the workshop will come to life as a great illustration.
We will discuss topics such as Africa, ecology, or even the future!
The technique chosen is called "mixed": the discovery of illustration by pasting various materials such as colored paper, burlap, cloth called African "campaign, linoleum ... For older children, a typographic approach the song is performed: creation of the lettering in areas cut.
